Shows and EventsCurrent EventsOur shop has been featured in a segment on the Carol Duvall show, on the Home and Garden Network. We have also been part of a show called "Dining in Style", on the Style Netowork (related to e). These programs re-air occasionally, we hope you can catch us on TV. Lisa Trujillo wove a sample Saltillo srape for Josefina, the American Girl doll. Copies are available from the Pleasant Company's American Girl current catalog.
Future EventsWe'll be having our picture taken with Governor Bill Richardson on 12/8/04. I'll try to find a place on the site to post the results. Spanish Market will be July 23th and 24th 2005, with a Preview Reception on the evening of July 22nd. Lisa has been teaching a class in Chimayo Weaving each spring at the Espanola Valley Fiber Arts Center. Contact Diane at (505) 747-3577 for more information on classes and activities at EVFAC. We will be reviewing textiles for a show of Rio Grande weavings being put together by the Albuquerque Museum. The show will begin next fall, and is likely to travel. This is an exciting thing to participate in for us... |
